Learning how computers work—from hardware to software and how they communicate.I am a final-year undergraduate at Kabarak University, studying Computer Science with a focus on computer networks, artificial intelligence and distributed systems. I am proficient in troubleshooting network issues and recently been taking a keen interest in Machine Learning.
Autobiographical
I've always been drawn to problems that require careful thinking. That curiosity eventually led me to computer science—not simply because I was curious about how computers work, but because I see computing as one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding and solving problems, whether they affect an individual or society at large.
More broadly, I'm interested in reasoning itself. I tend to believe that, even when perfect solutions don't exist, careful thinking can usually get us closer to the best trade-off. I'm happy to change my mind when presented with better arguments, though hopefully not so open-minded that my brains fall out.
Outside of coursework and side projects, you'll usually find me running, reading about African history, or wandering down the rabbit hole of analytic philosophy. The last of those probably explains why computer science appealed to me in the first place— they're different disciplines, but they share a fondness for precision, logic, and asking awkward questions until the assumptions become clear.
